That said, Camaro 1LE is sick as well and is a great value. Hard for me to say which one I'd part ways with my money for one. I'm being conservative and keeping my v6 bc its paid off...but oh the pain I get from seeing all these bad-ass cars coming out!!! Be responsible, be responsible be responsible...

I'd have to drive the new GT to see if it would be worth switching over - but 2014+ 1LE's are just money... its a great time we live in
New mustang looks worse than the 14 imo except the interior which is ALOT better.

I've seen them in person a few times now - not much to dislike. But I wasnt a fan when I originally saw them in magazines months ago. But to be fair, I was hating on the 2014 Camaro refresh also (which I now love - well maybe not the tail lights, lol)

I've seen three 2015 Mustang GT's in person now. The front end looks fine to me, side profile is a bit meh, but the back end is absolutely terrible (IMO). There isn't a single thing I like about that back end. NOT ONE.

BUT looks are subjective, I'm sure others really like the new look.

I'd like to see the details of the Porsche 911s, BMWs, Audis (cars that are twice the price of the Mustang) that the top Ford engineer claims to have "beaten" or "out-performed" (?)....

The "performance" Mustang couldn't even beat a lesser priced 1LE....

I think all Ford is counting on is the new "performance" interior to "beat" lesser priced cars....The twice the price cars, I don't see it out-performing any of them....(not even in the interior)....

I think they bit off more than they can chew by not even comparing themselves to Chevy or Dodge, and instantly being in Porsche-BMW-Audi class...Maybe they want out of the "Muscle Car" wars altogether....

FWIW, and I don't put much into this bc different days, different drivers ( but a hand full of cars driven by Randy) here is a list of recorded lap times at streets of willow. The 15 PP is faster than these current cars. I jsut quickly glanced over this list and kept the cars within 2 model years of the 15 PP. I am not defending the comments made by Ford, just putting this up here for conversation and reference.

17. Ford Mustang GT Performance Pack 1:24.32 '15 426 / 1650 Randy Pobst
18. Chevrolet Corvette Stingray 1:24.55 '14 461 / 1577 EdMunds InsideLine
19. Chevrolet Corvette Stingray 1:24.60 '14 461 / 1577
20. Mercedes CLS 63 AMG S-Model 1:24.70 '13 585 / 1870
21. Aston Martin V12 Vantage S 1:24.85 '13 573 / 1665 Randy Pobst .
25. Chevrolet SS 1:25.71 '14 421 / 1800 Randy Probst
26. Ford Mustang GT 5.0 1:25.77 '12 426 / 1641 Randy Pobst .
28. Subaru WRX STI 1:26.12 '14 309 / 1545 Randy Pobst
29. Mercedes CLA 45 AMG 1:26.20 '13 360 / 1395 Randy Pobst
30. BMW M235i 1:26.37 '14 326 / 1455 Randy Pobst
31. Jaguar XFR-S 1:26.49 '13 550 / 1987 Randy Pobst
33. Porsche Cayman S 1:27.00 '13 325 / 1320

I would have loved Randy to take the 15 PP around Laguna Seca, bc there are alot more cars that, recent ones, driven by Randy that we could compare to.

Very nice....Thanks....I just hope in the future Ford tries to make comparisons and competes more head to head with Chevy and Dodge....

They just seemed too condescending to their traditional rivals.....

So what you're saying is that the '15 GTPP can more or less play with the kids from the higher priced neighborhood.

Just that that pesky 1LE kid from across the street still has them all covered..

Yes it can, basically the GT PP can hang with the rich kids but the 1LE is still the baddest kid on the block
