Software update?
Had the car at the dealer yesterday and they said I was in the system for a SW update. Dealer was a littel clueless about what the update did. Though they did assure me it wasn't going to unleash extra power.
 Well they didnt' have the update so they werent' able to do it. I was just curious what it might be for. My Vin is in the 15K range has anyone else had this done, maybe share what its for if you know. I'm just curious if I need to go back for it or just say screw it. My car rarely sees the dealer lot.

Yeah I guess that could be it. Kind of bugged me they had no clue was it was but were insisting on doing it.

How can they "not" have the update?? Its not like GM ships it to them
 . If the car has a software update its downloaded via Tis2web. Also whats the last 8 of your vin, I will check to see what it might be. You can PM me it if thats better  .

PM'd you. Thanks for the offer. I'm not sure why they didnt' have the SW. They took all day for the 2 minor things I took it up there for. And only completed 1 thing.

Still a lot of dealers that know how to sell Camaro's but this is about it!
