It should be all SS models, just like all SS's get the FE3 configuration right now. That doesn't make a ton of sense to recalibrate the coupe, and not the convertible after all the work they did to make the convertible perform so well.

I can't believe they killed the Synergy Green. I was hoping for a ZL1 in Synergy Green. While I wasn't really crazy about the color, it would be rare and would look cool parked next to this in the garage!!!

I checked through my resources and the SS and LT/LS models will share the Tremec T56 manual transmission and the Hydra Matic 6T70 automatic transmission in both coupe and convertible models. I hope that helps to add some credibility to that information.

If the lts are sharing the tremec now then gm is finally admitting the aisin is junk! Glad I'm trading.

I'm not sure if thats quite the case as I don't have any information on the decision process for this change. Whether this is the issue that caused the decision or not I hope it does remedy the issues that have been seen on this forum.

Is there any info on how the Tremec is better than the Aisin besides just the reputation of both that I've heard from this site? That's usually good enough for me, just wondering.

Glad I got the SGM this year, good changes, I would like to upgrade the rear view with a cam. Wondering what impact building the exhaust manifold into the block will do to aftermarket header designers. Also, they don't use T56 anymore, just TR6060s. The T56 is solid, I had it in my 07 z06. The 6060 is a big improvement having owned and driven both. I Think if the speedo tac cluster designed changed for the better on the 2012. I would love to have the v6 speedo on my SS. Surprised rjt is gone. Usually replace a red with a red. The vette used to change up to two colors a year.
