Possible to replace Stock Halo Led?
I get the feeling my halo isnt as in your face bright as it was when i first got it. New 1LE rolling around town that seems to be brighter. Might be wrong but was wondering if something like replacing the LED's was even possible?

You do not need to break open your housing.

Same process as replacing the stock light with a RGB replacement. Shame I tossed my white OEMs when I replaced them I could have sent them to you. This is the detailed DYI on how to access the led.

Yea, I've replaced my white LEDs with RGB without baking the lights and disassembling.

If its a 2014 1LE then that HALO has multiple LEDs that is why it's brighter.
But the LED 2010-2013 can be replaced without baking as the others have said. |

You looking to go RGB or brighter? Gen5diy.com has done some work on brighter. NightOwlLEDs.com is the bomb for RGB and controlling them. Either can steer you through the replacement.

Looking to go brighter. I have the DRL harness running with my AAC Led fogs and want to brighten them up to match better.

I'd suggest looking up Ofer of gen5diy.com then. See if he ever made any real headway in the brightness direction. You eventually run into heat sink problems if you go too crazy. Best of luck!

Different nose from the fenders forward. Fenders work. Not sure about the hood. New fascia, grille, lights, harness at a minimum.
