Most people are not considering the value or the car or the name. A 427 ss will be worth under a stock ss today in 10-20 years and a z/28 will be north of 100k in 20 years. If I had the money to swing a z/28, I definitely would as it would be an investment.

3 shops in DFW will be trying to get there hands on one, car is priced right on and totally worth every penny, This car isn't for everyone and can see why. Friendly Chevrolet has 7 already on order from what my salesman said 3 are going to speedshops 1 going to dallas 2 in the Fort Worth area.

Dam GM!!!!
With 10 more grand I can have a new Viper.
Wasn't there a recent article pointing out theVipercouldnt catch the Camaro ZL so they built the TA edition? The Z28 is quicker again so why would you want to start slower? If anyone can appreciate the build specs of the Z28 I would have thought someone with Hennessey in their name would.

No disrespect intended, I'm just surprised.

The bottom line is those that can will and those that cannot will not. It is an incredible car and one that is worth owning.

They are taking pre-orders, but $ 10k and you'll have one pre-reserved (3) that I know of will be going to this dealer real soon.

I would rather get a Stingray, and if I was feeling really generous and spoiled, a new Z07 . Or buy a Used DD SS (like mine) and get a ZL1 or CTS-V.

Not the camaro but rather the ZR1 vette that it was a few tics slower. They built the TA version and now it's a tic quicker but not by much.
