Happened to me Saturday night. I was parked in the employee parking garage at my work. Two other cars were hit also. The door panel was scratched up pretty bad too, now I'm waiting for the insurance adjuster to give me the total.

I always leave it unlock. What are they going to take? My USB drive full of 80s and 90s music? I don't keep anything of value in it.

Just a thought, if someone were to try and take the car, could you do the fuse pull and keep them hidden so they can't start the car?

They can't steal the car without your keys anyways

And if they had a way to steal it without your keys, they keep a few extra fuses.

Get a viper alarm...

The issue is not camaros getting stolen, but getting camaros broken into.

Hell my biggest fear is having someone key it or open their door on me. I have low-jack, steal my car fine... But don't hurt her ):

I would have thunk... that breaking a window would set it off, even worse is that the dreaded "Theft Attempted" notification didnt show up either...

Empty bullet casings on the floor and dash board might help prevent this...

Seriously. The jerks can have what is inside, just don't mess up the car trying to steal $200 from me...

I know more than one person who just never locks their doors, and doesn't keep anything inside.

One of those people has had a window broken anyway before the dumbass thief realized it wasn't even locked.

It just sucks. If they asked me, I would be very likely just to give it to them...

When I drove my 82 Z28 regularly in the 80's/early 90's I had people try to break in several times. I put one of those Double J shaped steering wheel locks on that goes to the brake pedal and a ignition column lock thing. It kept people from trying. Deter ants are often the best. I have that J bar in my 2014 now. It just helps cause when they look in and see there will be an obstacle that will take time and more effort, they typically move on to an easier target.

NO It won't.....our car's don't have motion sensors in the alarms. so if the thief know it, and if they SEE something they want, all they have to do is break the glass and reach in and take it and run.
