wtb: modified gen5.
Hello all:
This is my first post, but take relief, I am no creature whom dwells under a bridge (troll). Haha I am actively searching for a camaro, and realized a forum like this would be great for help/advice. Looking for: 2011-2013 Black or white Auto only (pins in left kneecap make manuals uncomfortable unfortunately ) Would prefer a turbo, but supercharged works too. Worked engine to handle the forced air, as well as suspension and rear end work preferred. Not sure on necessity of Trans work, and advice here would be great! Clean title only I'm okay with either cosmetic work or not. Also, I would like a large amount of reliability. Would like to be able to drive to work, then take to track for fun. If anybody has advice on this, I will gladly listen. I am hoping for 5-600whp and maintain these attributes. If I'm crazy I always enjoy hearing about it. Ha Budget: am looking at under 30k. The exact number will depend on how much I fall in love with the car. Thanks in advance for any help, advice or direction! If I can ever find one that meets my needs, I hope to become a real member of this forum. Oh, and I'm located in northern California, so the closer the better. |

Nighthawk, thanks for pointing me in that direction. I did see that, but figured the "Hurst short shifter" meant manual. Guess I shouldn't assume and reach out to him. Also, he is a little over my budget, but doesn't mean we can't talk.
Thanks again, I'll shoot him a message. |

Thanks cali rider.
That car is interesting to me. One question, anybody have input on the stock trans, rear end, and suspension handling that power? Seems like breakage waiting to happen, but would love to be wrong! Also, he is a little high in price, and a long way from cali, where I live. |

Thanks for the info hawk. I have been away from fast cars for a while. Had an 89 camaro, then a 300gt vr4 modded, then a 98 supra tt (wish I woulda held on to that one). Then went to sport bikes. Last 5 years been driving slow gas guzzlers.
Point is, been away from car forums a while. Trying to read up here, but info and different opinions are almost overwhelming! I appreciate any and everybody taking the time on this post. My search continues! |
