Did anyone think that maybe because this is the L99 (6A) that the AFM was what was causing the 'loping'?

In my experience, cylinder deactivation kicks in only when coasting, so I think whenever you punch it you'll hear the L99 growl. At least I hope so.

I didn't want to comment too much on this till Scott had his say, but yes I think so. It was pretty quiet in person, and it had a bit of a flutter to the idle. I'm curious tho after his comment about AFM how aftermarket exhaust will sound on the auto car. I also pretty much ignored the sound, since that isn't the production exhaust anyhow.

Sounds just like it is - an LS3 without a tuned exhaust. Similar to a Vette, but with the ECM idle issues and unoptimized tuning. Just judging by what a tuned LS3 Vette sounds like now, this thing WILL sound much MEANER once tuned.

Stay frosty, people! You ain't heard NOTHIN yet!!!

(Corsa + cat-back + headers = )

One example - and this wasn't "ballz-out" -- but still sounds schweet:

Nice surprise hearing the enging being started up, even if some times they avoided due to the tone not being finalized. It sounds rly nice, so the final result will be even better.

Now, for real, what will it take for someone to actually rev up the thing? I mean, God, if you are gonna fire it up, you might as well make us drewl a bit more lol

All this enthusiasm is great, but is it really so hard to hit the right keys on the keyboard? You don't want to look like a bunch of 12 year olds wishing for a new set of hot wheels.

Talking

Just wait until the press gets their hands on some SS's here in a coupla weeks.... Motor Trend almost wet themselves over the V6. They may faint in the SS.
