He has 3000, he just doesn't have enough funds for what he wants.

$3000 doesn't cover what I want. $3000 is simply my budget and I was looking for opinions on what others would do with it other than what I'd like to do so I could get ideas.

That's what you're missing.

If you want the wheels, I'd save up until you can afford them. You're not that far away from them if that's what you truly want. If not, save for the cam

Thank you lol. And yea I think I'm going to be leaning toward the saving it for another month or two and get the wheels.

Buy a puppy. If you spend 3K on parts it will just be the start to a very expensive hobby.

I'd give $300 to charity and spend the rest on the following mods:

Cold air intake, catch can, ported throttle body, body color paint on certain pieces in the engine bay, some interior mods like aftermarket door panels (that are not plastic) and maybe a ZL1 rear spoiler. That's where I'd start and see how far the money will go. Then sit back and rejoice at a job well done.....!

Use the $3000 to re-finance the car, pay it down, and lower your payments.

That's a very good idea. But I'd put the money toward paying down the principal. This will save you a lot of money by reducing the interest which is function of (dependent on) the amount of principal left on the loan.

Logical reasoning won't be tolerated here. I already asked the question of "why a student working 25 hours a week at a minimum wage job is even concerned with $3,000 in car parts" and I got "LOL'd". He wants parts dammit!
