Never liked the El Camino and I don't like this either. Half muscle car/half truck? Hey GM, how about making different back-half options for it? Maybe a tilt-bed, or a cement mixer, perhaps a tow truck, how about a knuckle boom? Ehhh, everybody has their own opinion.

unlikely due to the imposed 35% tariff on that particular vehicle (from what Ive read) unless gm designs their own and puts it on an alpha...

Yeah I saw one had gone on ebay (i saw it months later via a Google search) that had already been converted to left hand too but it cost a pretty penny because someone paid to import it and convert. If they could get by with the usual 10% tariff they would do it and it would be much easier to get them.

Something about being a light passenger vehicle, blah blah...rules, blah

The Maloo is just the model name, whereas, Ute is the shortened generic term for; utility vehicle. You guys say "pick up" Aussies say "ute".

I don't like the Camaro ute but I've always liked the Maloo. I'd rock one.

Yeah but the UTES (not sure about this camaro fronted one) have a usable bed, unlike the SSR.

If GM ever brought the Ute here or revived the el camino, I would say bye bye blue oval in a heartbeat.

Selling Utes to die hard chevy fans, 15 million dollars. Stealing buyers from ford, priceless

hahaha. Im not brand loyal. As much as a lot of people here that I have argued with think I am a ford fanboy I am not haha. I grew up around GMs and Fords. Since I been driving, Ford's just appealed to more for whatever reason. But the El Camino or Ute would have me with a GM in my driveway in heart beat
