WOW did you notice how much the hood flexed up on the front edge. I run my car up to 140mph at VIR evertime on the back straight and I wonder if my hood is doing the same.

Yes, I did notice, you can see the gap go away on the right side when under the hood becomes pressurized. You see the hood re-plant when the pressure under the hood goes to normal at low speed. Tells me that without air extractors, that hood must really have some push from the underside. This car is supposed to have positive down force at high speed, it sure feels stable at top speed, so that hood must be elimination a lot of lift.

On a side note, a BMW had its hood fly up in just the staging area, and some kind of parts fell out of it that I hit with my right tire. Never found out what it was.
