Thinking about trading my M6 Camaro

So I have had my 2016 Camaro 2SS for about 7 months now (6000 miles) and am thinking about trading it.

-Nightfall Grey Metallic
-6 Speed Manual
-MRC
-Kalahari Leather
-Nav
-NPP Exhaust

There is absolutely nothing wrong with it but the manual transmission just stresses me out every time that I drive it. Because of this, I do not enjoy it like I should. I know that if I were to trade it into a dealership, I'm looking at about a $10,000 loss. The car is worth more than I owe on it.

Any thoughts?

why does the manual stress you out? like you dont like driving manual as a DD?

is that 10k including tax that you paid? you wouldnt need to pay that again, except on the partition that was lost. trade it for the same car in auto.

Manual just takes time man... Don't give up yet... Plus a 10k loss should be enough of an incentive.

Took me about a month when I first learned a couple manual cars ago. Now its to the point where I don't even think about it lol I just do it.

Maybe leave your car in Tour or Ice/snow for a little while to get used to it since those setting are more easy on the throttle. Should help with the "dead stop to go" aspect. Then move up in performance levels as you get more comfortable.

what stresses you out about it? stop and go traffic / commuting? or just fear of wearing out the clutch and what not? Is it your DD or just a weekend / play thing?

I would say why does it stress you out. I feel it has the best clutch of any manual I have ever driven. I think everyday how much I am glad I got the M6.
Sure I'm stalled it a few embarrassing times, but no biggie it happens.

It kills me to admit that I am not completely happy with my purchase. It is one of 3 "daily drivers" (includes my motorcycle and truck). I just can't relax in it. Always having to think about keeping it smooth. I can only wear one pair of sneakers when I drive it.

Use the rev match if you have a hard time shifting smoothly..

Drive the car more to get used it. $10K is a large amount to take a bath on when trading in a vehicle. I would never do it, but it's your car and up to you. How are going to offset the negative equity? I would be surprised if any dealer would include that in the financing (which could put you in a bigger hole if they did).

Well there's the problem! DAILY YOUR CAMARO! lol it takes time. CONSISTENT time. If you only drive it 2 days out of the week and those 2 days are spread apart it would be like relearning it every time you got in it. Especially since its your first..

I have never turned the rev match off. Downshifting isn't a problem. It's just the driver involvement that I would rather not have (obviously this opinion has changed since I bought it).

This is what I have been doing lately. Forcing myself to drive the Camaro more. The thing is that I can drive it fine (I guess this would vary based on an individuals definition of "fine"), but I am stressed while doing it. Hopefully I can become comfortable driving the car. Really sucks.

It is off by default. Do you hit the paddle every time you turn on the car? If so, it sounds like a stick just isn't for you.
