Yes sir I can reiterate that, Tompson Motorsports the best deal going out there especially when you get the warranty, I had them build me a 376 with 9.5:1 compression, Forged Wiseco Pistons Forged K-1 Rod's and crank, ARP head studs, main studs and rod bolts(2000), and stage 2 Turbo CAM and with the money saved I even had him CNC port the heads

If I want a TT set up, who do you recommend to build my stock engine?
Goals are 750 to 850whp.

Thanks!

Your stock Z28 LS7 motor/bottom end will hold up to 850rwhp with the AGP TT kit. Look up Dreksnot's build with his stock SS bottom end. Impressisve #'s for stock LS3! 900/1000+ requires a build.

I personaly would scale back the safe stock hp level with the LS7 to around 650-700. It was not designed for boost at all.

As to your question LME, ERL, and lingenfelter have made some great builds.

TSP or Thompson may have options as well that might not hurt the wallet as bad. Definitely build the motor though, as stated above.

I don't really have a recommendation as for who to do the work, but with the LS7 all you need is to swap the pistons to low CR forged units, fit them and balance it all. The crank, rods, and block are all good to 1000whp.

i figured the crank was good for the power, i thought the rods in addition to pistons were needed, but ive never really messed with ls7 stuff to know for sure.
