Great pics, I just noticed the wider rear spoiler, is this a 'vert version only?

15 minutes into the trip home and I85 is dead stopped due to an accident. Long backup.

Thanks for visiting Florida, sorry you are heading back to the frozen tundra. Come back and visit any time. Hopefully we can meet up some day after my Z28 arrives. Take care and have a safe trip back home.

First off....Thanks for all the pics and Video. Many of us have been waiting for images such as these.
Second ..by a quick search of all my posts they've most been regarding the convertible and shown I've been a staunch supporter of the convertible for months and years. However, after THIS picture, and the following LA Autoshow release statement by GM, I must say I'm a little disappointed. :( At the outset, designers and engineers sought to eliminate the common appearance of convertible top support ribs and they succeeded, using composite knuckles rather than aluminum ones, as well as extending the top material below the belt line and revising the top’s stitch lines. The result is a top that has a smooth, taut and carefully tailored appearance that also retains the sleek roofline of the coupe. Has the long wait exaggerated my expectations, is this just a bad angle, earlier release version, or I'm I just being to damn picky? |

It is just the angle. I was there today and it looks very good. The ribs are hardly noticeable - especially at a distance. Up close of course you will be able to notice them, but as Number 3 said, a lot of people don't even realize it is a convertible until they take a long hard look.
