The only two days I haven't been able to drive my car were the two I needed to self-install my IPF S/C. These wait times guys are reporting are absolutely ridiculous.

Can i join the broken car club? I rear ended a chick when she started to turn the stopped for no reason. Its only been at Petes since Friday, so while it hasnt been 3 months, i can relate. I want to drive my car.

IPF sent me home with a tuning module when I dropped by and bought my kit. I downloaded one of their tunes off the menu on their website (you have many to choose from and pick one that matches your other mods) to the tuner then loaded it into the car.
Started right up, no dash lights. It took forever to bleed the power steering system, though. I did accidentally cut an a/c line, but that was my fault for leaving the s/c oil drain line hanging free and the braided steel jacket on the line successfully sawed through the aluminum a/c line. Good thing it wasn't hot here yet. John B.

Just got off the phone with Irene, the knock sensors are failing so they are still working through the tune to get everything right.

How does a knock sensor fail?

I think what she meant was the sensor is detecting knocking

Most of the time they fail when fuel detonation is not adjusted properly

I am saying with no intent to bash any vendor or take business away from anyone. That being said, I'm not sure why anyone would use a mail order tune on the LFX. HP Tuners and EFI Live both work well on this platform, and the tuner/dyno operator can see what is going on real time as they do the pulls. It is safer and quicker.
Hope no one takes offense at that.
