Rotor Rage!

Ok, I'm really upset because my rotor hats look like garbage with the rust that is forming on them and they are only 3 months old! I look at the other cool wheels and the first thing I notice are their rotors don't look like garbage. Does it really do any good to paint them with heat resistant paint or am I just covering the rust that will get worse? I'm not hard on my breaks and the fact they look worse than my rotors on my '02 Envoy really irritates me. What can I do for this? Is my only choice performance wise to go with the slotted or drilled rotors?

Are you talking about the stock rotors? If so, you can paint, or just upgrade to some aftermarket rotors. I went with the R1Concepts rotors and they are very nice.

In terms of styles, you can do plain, slotted, drilled, dimpled, slotted and drilled/dimpled, or Stillen has what they call a j-hook.

since you have replaced your rotors, have your rotor hats started rusting yet?
