Project Doppelganger Blue print
I know this may sound over the top but I'd like some opinions on an idea I've been throwin around in my head
Performance Mods take a stock black LS V6 5th gen.swap the v6 for a LS9. Take the stock blower off and swap it for a Kenne Bell Mammoth 2.8L Twin screw. now here's where the interesting part comes in. bolt on a custom set of turbonetics 76mm turbos with custom fabricated plumbing nessacary for the turbos. In addition to that a Custom intercooler blacked out. put in a either a Ford 9 inch or a GM 12 Bolt with 4.56 gears at BOTH ENDS. put in a custom transfercase with carbon fiber driveshafts.a Turbo 400 OR LENCO trans Exterior Mods Black rims, smoke the tail lights and install red front halos and tints.and leave the RS badge on for those who get close enough to think this may have a v-8 underneath PARTS LS9$17,000(est) KB$7,000(est) Turbochargers$1,200(est) Rear ends$2,000(est) Transfercase and riveshafts;$3,000(est) trans:$1500-10,000(est) Crazy no? well the turbos will have lag spooling up and the supercharger will help spool the turbos as well as providing the majority of the low end grunt while the turbos will take care of the top end.

The idea is take a V6 camaro and turn it into a LS9 all wheel drive car? Is that what I am reading?
Well, good luck on it. Add suspension mods to your list. And the amount of man hours needed to make this work would probably put you into ZR1 territory anyways |
