Texas newbie, purchasing question...

After being a multiple Audi owner for the last 10 years, I think it's finally time to give into my urges and look at some domestic muscle. After riding in that Camaro with Jimmie Johnson back in April, I was somewhat sold!

That said, I'm in the Houston area and I honestly know nothing about what dealers are good and what dealers I should stay away from. Should I decide to purchase a Camaro, I'll be using a supplier certificate. I think I read that Classic in Dallas is honoring those certificates... true?

Are there any dealers in Houston honoring them?

Classic in Sugar Land probably honors them as well since they are owned by the same guy.

If you dont live too far from Baytown go to Ron Craft in Baytown. Excellent dealer!! Give them a call and ask for Mike Isham. He is such a good, honest guy to deal with! I have nothing but positive things to say about my transaction with Ron Craft Chevrolet in Baytown!!

Classic in Sugarland or Buckalew in Conroe are MSRP. A guy just ordered one from Buckalew this week at MSRP. I'd pick based on whether you are North or South Houston.

Both are top notch dealers...

Or venture down to Lake Jackson and go to Leo Martin, they too are selling at MSRP. But stay away from Davis Chey on 610, they are asking $5000 over msrp.

It's called a supplier discount, it makes the price a set amount so there is no BS on the deal. It will ensure no markup and sometimes a little less than MSRP. You can usually qualify for it through your employer (larger corporations)

Eric at Classic Grapevine has been a WELL PROVEN representative of many users here on the forum and another forum as well. He's got insight to a few people like I do....Heck, I'd ALMOST call him my "twin in TX".... call him at 817-421-7266

Tell him I sent ya - I think he throws in some rare collectable....
