I'm not sure why you think having more than 1 Z06 in the 10's is "bad" news, but hey, who am I to point that out?

If the car has drag radials, however, it is not stock. Stock motor maybe, but not a bone stock vehicle.

In any case, the topic at hand is a sub-13 second Camaro run, not how fast a C6 Z06 can go.

i totally agree with you. the motor was stock..down to the filter but yes, having DRs on the car definitely takes it out of stock form....and it isn't bad news in the literal sense. i guess i misread your post. but yes, c6Z's are very capable of 10's in stock trim.

Awesome run. Thanks for posting the details on how you "staged" the car...taking notes for if/when my Dad says he wants to race me in his 2009 Challenger SRT8!

Just to be 100% certain the car was bone stock? No tune? As well was the tire PSI at the stock levels and the air filter was in, yes? I'm just asking for comparison purposes.

Nice. I just wanted to be sure as some of the Challenger guys were asking if it had a tune at all and I wanted the question to be 100% answered.

Question: Why are you converting to e85?

The first journo to go got into the Grabber Blue car and pulled out a 12.33 -- faster than Ford's officially listed time. Asked to back it up an hour later he did a 12.5. Some drivers were getting their 60-foot times under two seconds.
i wouldn't call 12.8 "along side"
