Graduating in December!

I just spoke to my advisor, and I just fulfill the requirements for graduation in December. She looked at my POLS (Department of Political Science) credits and dropped her jaw when she saw all the extras I've taken. She said I pretty much took every class available in POLS since my admission.

For those considering going to school in the midwest, I strongly encourage going to the University of Kansas from my experience, but I'd be careful about listening to what the advisors tell you. They really don't care much about you unless you go into their offices often.

Come December, I will be seeking professional employment. We'll see whether a BA in POLS means anything then. Starting upon hiring, I will open the Camaro account and put ever dime I can into my muscle machine.

Stay tuned for random going-out parties. You'll want to come, I'm sure.

For me, it's going to be the same way. I've been cordial with a lot of my professors, including ones with very different political perspectives. I'm actually going to get Dr. Steele, everyone's favorite neoconservative, to sign my graduation paperwork. Despite being so polarizing, he was the best teacher I've had in POLS.

Instead of continuing my education, I hope to harness my apparent marketing talent. Hopefully, the Chevrolet dealership in town—not leaving Lawrence for a while—could use someone. Then, I'll be able to post myself as an MSRP dealer.

I try to stay objective. If I ever get a dealer job, it would represent a good opportunity for me to share my automotive enthusiasm with those who need something better than what they've got.

When it comes to politics, no one on here really knows where I stand, and I don't like being labeled so you really won't ever know, to be honest. I've enjoyed studying the political system, but I'm not sure I want to participate in it yet.
