Blinking red light on the dash

noticed a blinking red light on my dash (middle. close to the wind sheild)at night is that the security system or should I be concerned?

thanks, I figured that was it but my dad keeps calling me and saying he sees it when he passes by at night. Thanks guys

I believe I read in the manual that it is also the sensor for the automatic headlights.

It has nothing to do with the light sensor, the LED indicator is just conveniently housed in the same bubble...
