After having 3 wisdom teeth pulled working out may not be the best choice. If it were me I probably would maintain healthy eating habits, you could consider protein shakes as meal replacements and a good source of soft nutrition would be eggs for something solid. Use the three days to give your body a break especially if you train hard. Sometimes a good rest does wonders and in some instances can help to break a plateu.

We're of similar weight and builds... so it's now officially a competition.

Put me down for 25 pounds.

Oh, and for the record... it was Bonnie's commitment to her own workout this past year, and watching her kick ass in competition, that pushed me over the edge into committing to this. It's nice to know success stories, and I've watched hers' unfold for over a year. Thanks, BonBon!
Wow! Thanks so much! Thats awesome your competing! I love it!! That is some ultimate motivation right there! I needed to hear this, I feel like I'm going through the motions and lacking enthusiasm, but sometimes and I need to find that fire from within, its so hard for me this time of year, I always perk up in the spring, so thank you for sharing this because I really need to find some drive right now! And Keep me posted on the competition i want to hear all about it! Good luck!

Agreed, everyone reacts differently to oral surgery, but I wouldn't count on feeling like exercising at all. You'll have to start out with broth or something like that I think...If I remember

9 plds since the 1/3. Following my version of the South Beach diet. Whole grains, protein, walking and eating 6 times a day. Going to try and drop 30 plds before I start lifting again. Ever since my accident it's been impossible because of my back. I figure if I drop weight, eat right maybe I can avoid surgery all together. Worth a shot.

Breakfast: Oatmeal + V8
Snack: Light Active yogurt
Lunch: Salad W/Protein. Light dressing. Low fast cheese.
Snack: Peanut butter protein bar. – south beach
Dinner: Protein/Veg
Dessert: Carb smart no sugar ice cream bar. It’s the closest thing I found that tastes good and curves the sweet tooth. 5g’s carbs.

I am!! This is my fourth week and I LOVE IT!! I am doing the LEAN program and am feeling stronger, am way more flexible, and am looking/feeling more tone already! Even though the scale hasn't moved a whole lot, I will need to go shopping for smaller jeans soon I think!
