I ordrdered my 1:18 scale IOM diecast from chevymall.com. But I had to add touches to make it just like the living legend...SUPRBAD. I added the CGM vinyl rally stripes (courtesy of HuggerOrange73), I painted the wheels silver to match the real RS wheels, painted the engine cover with my IOM touch up paint, painted the calipers gunmetal grey and added the Utah Vanity tags. Very nice indeed. I'd like to do this with my CGM at some point.

Not to nitpick, but shouldn't the "SS" badges be Red? Maybe they are and I just can't tell from the pictures.

Looks great. I'm actually considering getting one, stripping it down and doing a replica of my car too.

The SS should be in red but this is how it came. Maybe a model kit down the road will have small red "SS" decals I can use.

I need to try a better printer to see if I can get the plate not so pixelated but for now, it's what I got.

Nah...don't need a better printer (at least not for this reason). Just take a closeup picture of your license plate while trying to fill as much of the frame as possible with the plate's image. Upload that to your computer, and open it for editing in the "Paint" program that comes with all Windows based computers. Click the "Image" menu option at the top, and choose "Stretch/Skew" from the sub-menu. It may take a few tries to get it just right but experiment with different percentages...maybe start with 20% for both the Horizontal and Vertical options. Print it out and see what that looks like. It shouldn't have the pixels in the picture. It's at that point that you may discover if you really need a better printer or not. It may still distort the image but it may not be as bad.

Also, you may be able to do this right inside your printer options depending on the software you have installed.
