I deleted my sound tube with the help of some ACE Hardware plugs (part # 54179C). Slightly pry open the clamp
Be sure to remove the alignment knob use some adhesive & resqueeze the clamp use some adhesive before installing plug |

Honest question.... what is the point of deleting the sound tube? I've seen a few people do it and have just wondered the reason. I don't find the car loud inside except when I get on it, which is a good thing. In fact I'm about to install an exhaust so I am hear it more. Thanks for the insights, I've always been curious.

Saw someone do this on IG. And thought how cool this was. Removed the stock bow tie and added these instead. Now I won't hear "nice mustang" anymore.

Gave it a wash after getting it back from the dealer. They scratched my bumper when taking the front bow tie off, but they fixed it up pretty perfectly. So yeah, black bow ties down, tint probably next, then wheels.
