ECU burn
Hello to you all, happy new year, it's been a while but I am back with my brother's Camaro, this time the ECU blowed a fuse it was the 15Amp ecu fused, I removed the ECU and found the ECU burn mark.....I tried the upload photos but I get message of the size of photo, anyway wanted to know how to remove the circuit board from the aluminum case for repair.......TP

Are you trying to tear into the ECM or the fuse box? If the ECM you won’t have the skills to fix it if you have to ask how to access it. Pretty specialized operation.
If fuse box, typically on GM of this era, you remove all the plugs on the back and all the relays and fuses on the front and the box itself will unsnap apart. But I haven’t actually done this on a Camaro fuse box. |
