Really looking forward to this year's event. I had a conflict last year and haven't attended since 2008 when I owned my 2002 B4C. Always a great time with good people and a lot of nice Camaros from all gens.

I am planning on coming up to this show from MD. Is it worth the drive? I have heard all good things about this show just want some other opinions.

HI...
unfortunetely, MIS is not available to us this year. We did contact them and our date was not possible. We too, are very sorry to not return for a 3rd straight year, but will continue to pursue MIS each year of our event. Actually, missing a year or two is good... makes it all the more worth it to return to the show!
We ARE working on a few great alternitives to MIS... plans have to be finalized before we do any announcing!

As Randy said, Scott Settlemire usually has family commitments during the 4th of July holiday, as do many GM executives. This is also the usual start of GM shutdown and thus, we run into vacation plans. Last year John Fitzpatrick was in attendance and we'll be inviting MANY GM people... it will just depend on their schedules! Hopefully, with our 20th year being this summer, some will hold out on plans for a day or two and join us.

As for is it worth the drive from Maryland? YOU BET!! (of course you're asking the event chairman... what would you expect me to say... LOL!) I will let other chime in and some have in previous posts... if you have attending CSF, please let everyone know what a great time you had!

Updates as we get/make them!!
thanks!
Barry

HELLO again (and so soon...)

I'm not sure if there is an easy way to do this, so here's my attempt...

I would liek to contact ALL sponsors/businesses on this forum and invite you to become a CAMARO SUPERFEST sponsor for 2011 and beyond. We have information to give you, but I'm not sure how to contact all of you as fast as possible.

If you could please email me... barry76Lt@wowway.com
so I can email you the information, that would be GREAT!! Sponsorship is NOT expensive and actually, for our big 20th year plans, if we had many sponsors kick in even a minimum amount, we would make our goal and have a HUGE announcement. BUT, we need to hear from you ASAP!!

If the system admin could forward this on to the sponsors/businesses, GREAT - THANKS! Or if there is a contact list that can be provided to me, that will work too!
THANKS! and I hope to hear from you!
Barry Hensel, CSF Chairman

I can tell you it was worth the drive from Florida!
Since I moved to Indy, no longest drive award for me this year.

It is a great FAMILY event. Cars are parked on grass, there is a river running alongside the park, food vendors there or a short walk to town, there is also a Firehouse museum across the street, a car museum in the small town.
You can check out the event at www.camarosuperfest.com and Depot Town you can see at www.depottown.org
