Keep us posted on this. I'm gonna need to do this real soon with the increased power. Curious as to how the 5 feels and whether or not you have chatter.

I don't understand why you are ? What did you think would happen to the factory clutch when you add whatever you added?

Quite honestly, the factory clutch is hugely dissapointing whether you mod or stay stock. The fact that there are so few options to remedy this along with the sissy like characteristics of the AY6 transmission only adds to the frustration. I'm certainly willing pay to play, just want more options.

I added the IPF SC kit, and I expected to need a new clutch (just not so soon). not to mention that it did this some times even before FI! I can be a little about stock parts not holding up if I want to be. I am also aware that a clutch is a ware item and needs to be replaced eventually no matter what. I just wish there were more options. I saw a spectacular Speck clutch failure online today, that totaled a c6 Vet and almost made the driver louse his legs.
Its not like I came on here to complain about it not holding, I posted up to see what others have done and to learn from their experiences.

Its been discussed before and seems like a new support brace is what will be needed to make it fit. Along with the hardware, but the brace is the obstacle I had inquired about this when Leno said he had a swapped trans.

Has anyone done a review of their aftermarket clutch yet?
