The strongest point to tow a vehicle is always closer to the mounting point of whatever is you are pulling on. That's why all vehicles that do have factory installed tow hooks (all Euro cars for example) have the tow hook mount offset on either the left or right hand side.

We have towed/winched our own vehicles with this and no issues at all, but it is of course important to insure that the unit is installed properly.

Yessiree, free shipping!

They do not come with comprehensive installation instructions at this time as people have been choosing to install them different ways, but we are in the process of finishing one up and will be including it! I do however have an online install that I can send over before then.

Nothing that is as street-able so to say, we made one for a guy who had it going through one of his rear reverse lights holes (he removed the light first) but you will be short a reverse light and it sticks out a bit. We are looking into a removable one that will mount behind the license plate to keep it clean yet user (and pedestrian) friendly!
