longtube kooks + MBRP = LOUD
Dont get me wrong, I love the sound of a muscle car, but dang.. this thing screams now. That is all.

mbrp with shortys sounded perfect to me. The Longtubes increased it a good bit. I would say 40% louder. Its with the cats. I will grab a video today. Love the raspy sound of the headers, its just the tone is much louder in and out the cabin. Might have to swap the exhaust to something else

I have the 3" Magnaflow (16483) and it's great. You could check with someone like JDP Motorsports and buy it for probably a little more than what you could sell your MBRP for. I actually haven't heard the LG Motorsports exhaust in person but on the videos it sounds real good. It's a bit more than the Magnaflow though. I've also head the Borla (Stinger if you want loud or Touring if not) is a nice system as well. Again....I think they are a bit more than the Magnaflow. BTW: I love the light rasp of the headers at startup as well. The first few days I had it I would actually stop and start the car a couple times when ever I drove it. I still leave the door open whenever I start it so I can hear the sound.

thanks for the info, Yeh i might have to go the magnaflow route. Im still looking into a few. Heres a video with the kooks 1 7/8 catted headers and the mbrp exhaust. Hard to go off of video, but kinda gives you a idea.

Yeh the vid doesnt really do it justice, pretty loud setup inside the cabin and outside. Not as loud as open headers or something crazy like that but loud for a car with a catted exhaust setup. I dont know, i will see how much it bothers me over the next few weeks and decide to swap it out then or keep it.

I was also looking at this same setup or a complete Kook's system. Like the other guy said, it doesn't sound that bad. But you get to drive it and if annoys then it might annoy me too. Should try to some in cabin audio or borrow someone HD camera for a possible better audio. Thanks for sharing.

Was just posting this video on on another thread. Thought I would pass it along to you in case you hadn't seen it yet.
IMO this setup is just about perfect inside the cabin. As of yet I haven't heard any drone with it either. I need to get some videos of mine inside the cabin and some drive by.

yeh it was a quicky. Sorry guys, i was just on my way out and couldnt rev it right there, or I would of had a few different neighbors come running out yelling at me. Car is running horrible right now, so im babying it around until I can get the tune straightened out this coming up weekend. meth kit, headers, new intake, and smaller supercharger pulley just went on, things are completely out of wack. I will grab some hd video for you when its on the dyno and after. Theres a few other videos on the forum with guys with headers and mbrp if your looking for more clips also. Drone is pretty bad inside the cabin when u cant hear the person next to you talking
