The auctions have begun

Well if you're like me, you are watching Speed's coverage of the Barrett Jackson auction...

Watching some of these Heritage collection cars go through is almost heartbreaking.

I just watched a 1918 Caddy 57 go for 32,000.... what the hell

its 90 freaking years old and looks brand new :(

EDIT:

Here's photos of the representative Camaro they'll be auctioning off as the "first production Camaro" -- a Silver Camaro SS with Cyber Gray stripes!

I know you can, I've signed up as an online bidder, but my cap is no where near what the Camaro will go for.

I'm hoping to pick up one of the SEMA cars, maybe the H3 SEMA or one of the early Stingrays.

Shelbys Cobra? That would be very hard to beat.

I think the #1 seller of all time is still the GM Future Liner from the 2007 show, it went for 10 million... and then the 1 off Firehawk concept that went with it was like 2 million

they all went to the Pratt collection.

Yup, Thunderbird serial #0001 is my guess for top bid.

So what will go for more? The first 5th gen Camaro, or the first 2010 GT500? I'm betting Camaro.
