Just got to the shop, with 223 miles on the new motor. I didn't get a chance to go out yesterday so, this morning, I went north out to Austin, and hit the toll road, and ran it south to Seguin... then over to New Braunfels.

Nice ride other than a GTR wanting to run on me... I thought to myself as he ran off like the wind, wait a week butthead... I'll invite him to the Mile...I love the 85 mph speed limit...

It most assuredly isn't worth the time, doesn't make it any less fun... The expressions are priceless...On the street I run between 8 and 9 hundred... It's changed with the new cam, may be a little more... 12 lbs of boost, the free flowing manifolds...

The fastest time for a TT GTR at the mile this last October was 187 or something thereabouts... Not overly impressive for a TT car...

I forgot to ask earlier, do y'all have a different plan of attack for the aerodynamics in front of the headlights than what you did for the last Mile?

More tape...

There are several areas that were not taped off, Forgot...

But it handled so well and the fluid up the windshield proved to me that the ground effect is working... So, We'll probably go back the way we were...The under panning is still there front and rear...

Okay. I wasn't sure if you guys had any plans to try and create a more permanent solution that would allow for attachment and detachment of the panels you used in front of the headlights to prevent shark-toothing...

Nah, I like to be able to put her back to completely stock looking....

So, I have three potential dates for a front end alignment...at BlackJack Speed Shop, in San Antonio with Pete from Pedders there to give the specs and possibly corner weight it if need be...

Hopefully the new wheels and tires will be on the car then...
