Nothing wrong with that. I would have taken my fourth gen to some of the other fests if it didn't cut into my 1LE fund. You will get better mileage than the majority on the way there and back but the small gas tank will suck.

Any idea when the hotel info will be announced? Last year I almost missed out on the host hotel, and want to be sure I am checking the site daily in the days or week before its announced.

But you wont get the group rate. They will tell you what to tell the hotel so you get a group rate fyi

I know, but doesn't really matter to me. I'd rather be guaranteed a room than save a few bucks. The difference between the group rate at Wyndham and regular price was only $7. Plus, I can always get the government rate.

How in the heck is it TOO far??? We ALL did it last year. Some of us are going to do it again. Yes. It's far. But it's doable and is absolutely worth it! No worries...we'll make sure you are included. This is part of thd different idea I was talking about earlier. |

Bad call IMO. Should have been more towards the middle of the country. Indiana is friggin boring folks. I travel there every 4 weeks for work to visit a customer, and I can tell you that there is no good reason to have it in this town. The best reason against it, the cops suck. They are hard core up there and it would have been so much better in Texas, Alabama, Georgia, etc...
