Anyone want a $75,000 Camaro!?

So after work yesterday afternoon I went to the movie theater to pick up tickets to see Transformers 2 later in the night. When I got there, there was a 2SS CGM with ISM racing stripes and painted GFX and IOM interior on display. The car looked amazing! Great color combination! So I start looking over the car and notice on the hood it says supercharged. There were a couple of people from a local dealership working there and telling people about the car. So I asked one of them about the supercharger and he said it would give the Camaro almost 500hp. I said OK thats great but how much are you charging for it? He tells me $75,000. My jaw hit the floor. I couldn't believe that a dealership is going to try and charge $75,000 for a Camaro with a supercharger. He tried to tell me that there is $38,000 worth of accesories in it. So I looked around the car and noticed the accessories to be - Different rims, which he tells me are worth $6,400, new exhaust system, not sure how much and the super charger. For some reason I don;t see this car having $38,000 worth of accessories on it unless a supercharger costs $25,000? Oh and the dealer is Hendrick Chevrolet in Cary, NC. Unfortunately, I didn't get any pics. The car looked gorgeous but not at $75,000.

Just more folks ripping off folks. I would send my to Lingenfelter and for 11k get 550HP and a good warranty behind it.

That's the one we saw pictures of a month ago after the stripes had just been put on!

Seems that's one of the first two Camaros that Rick Hendrick used his pull to get straight off the line. Nice to see that he's selling it at a completely ridiculous price!

I have pictures that I will post later tonight. You have to remember that any Camaro that they sell has the "Hendrick" mark up. You need to factor this one into the equation as well as their labor rates. Bad thing is that I looked at a new red Z06 this weekend in Va and they only wanted $69k for it. Which would you buy?

Yep we've seen pics already of the car.......If its CGM it wouldn't be one of the first ones...Still way overpriced if you ask me...

I called one of his dealerships to see about a dealer trade on a 3/4 diesel crew. The MSRP was $54000 he said sure I could get it but it had a DUB package on it for an extra $30000 I said he could keep it. The last time I checked he still had it time in inventory was 378 days.

2 words here........ "HENDRICK CHEVROLET"........ that should answer all the questions!!!. I have bought several vehicles from them........ but not a car like this...... they love the "Market Value Adjustment" there way too much.

Worst part is people from all over will pay it cause its Hendrick! Same thing with Dale Earnhardt Chevrolet as well, although I don't know if they are marking cars up, but people travel from all over just to get their car from DE's dealer...
