this is coming from a guy perspective, it just seems a little weird probably. I might just be looking into this too much, but most girls probably have some sort of confidence issues.
Im not trying to be mean at all trust me. Quote:
http://www.flickr.com/photos/cccstl/...n/photostream/ this is one lucky guy, once i get a gf i hope it would be something like her. Beautiful, easy going, you know she must either love him or is easy going bc most girls think its weird for a guy to ask her to do something like this. they probably think the guy is taking it in a weird way. Some might, cant speak for all, but i wouldnt bc it takes a lot of confidence to do something like that. I admire that and just like to admire the beauty of a female. Once i get a gf I would be most appreciated if she would do this for me! Like i said i might be looking more into this but IMO that might be why there are no hits on this project yet.

Bonnie is busy right now but let me give a little history of this idea. Bonnie was approached by another lady on the forum with a cool idea to do their part to help raise money. To have the 'Ladies of Camaro5' (unofficial title, there is no "ladies of Camaro5') do a photo fund raiser where they would take a picture with members and their cars for a small donation of whatever each individual was willing to donate for a picture. (When she gets something in her head, it's hard to get her to stop. lol) Cars and pretty ladies. It was just a way to have fun and raise a few dollars for the charity.
Initially there were more ladies asking to participate but it was decided that 5 was enough. After all, you can't have 15 ladies out there, you wouldn't be able to see the car. In hind sight, they probably should have allowed a few more. So as some of the ladies discovered they couldn't do it, it left only 2. The remaining ladies (CynAgain, and Bonnie) decided it's just not enough to keep interest going and decided to cancel it. Bonnie wanted to see if there was any interest still real quick. She wants to help raise money and when she was first asked, she was excited to do it. After all, we are there to celebrate the 5th Gen Camaro, hang out with each other outside of cyber-space, and as a bonus, raise money for a good cause. Win, Win, Win. Me? I still plan on getting a picture of her in a racer outfit with a sea of Camaros. Just for my photobook. And if spontaneous interest creeps up, then so be it. BUUUUUUUUTTTTTTTT, for the right money, Bonnie and the girls can still get Spike in a dress to do a dance. Basically it's just something that was started and I guess was just play. But a few of the girls weren't just playing. Quote:
Ya, she figured that. But like I said, anyone who expressed interest would obviously have to be comfortable. In the beggining there were some. It's pretty much a non-issue now. Even the ladies who would be fine doing it may just want to not have to worry with it. She was just checking. For us, it's part of the fun of the car scene. She woudn't do anything over the top. Believe me, we have felt uneasy at some shows with some of the ladies and how they show too much and act even worse. Though sexy, this would not have even showed as much as a bikini or even the picture you referenced. This is a family freindly get together. We aren't talking about a super revealing magazine shoot. I don't think you are thinking too much into it. We want everyone to have fun and enjoy themselves. It had to be adressed because the ladies had gotten it put on the schedule. Now it can be taken off. |

I just thought it would be a fun thing to do at the fest and doing it for a good cause would just put the icing on the cake. But thats ok we'll have a blast anyway!!! BTW: we wouldn't be wearing bikinis or anything just racer outfits.
