Hey.. I noticed this a few days ago but still cant figure what it signifies.

Under your name and above your avatar there is like a vertical grey stripe. Some are longer than others, some have partial colour, some have it and some dont??

What does it mean???? beans??

Just wondering when this changed over.

it has to do with post count, and i think i read that the one's where its like orange or whatever is where it wraps around.. does that make sense??

I'm quite sure that it is based on your post count. Some people don't have them because they have personalized status messages like me. Mine says, "DOMINATING" You have obviously not set one so you have the post count bar. Which grows and changes colors every time you post. I am quite certain that when you hit a 1000 posts (which will be soon) your grey bar will turn to a different color. You will level up per say. Understand.

I don't think it's all post count. What would be the point. Postcount is there anyway. Plus, some have less than 100 posts and have like 3 grey points so unless it's an exponential formula like say the Richter scale for earthquakes then it wouldn't make sense.

Well, we used to have a system that only dealt with a small amount of posts. When you first join your just a member, after a hundred measly stinking posts your a senior member. After that your always just another senior member. So what. The old system wasn't really working anymore. So I guess they tried this one. As always, I'm probably dead wrong, and this is just a big joke the MOds are playing on me.

It switched when they switched the signature size. It looks like an error to me, but I also have been wondering about this!

I don't think it's an error...and 1000 post isn't orange...it may be a test for a reputation bar or something like that
