If so, then if bigger engines make less boost, you should be able to pulley down to the same boost levels without causing the slip that smaller engines have with the same pulley size.
It has a lot to do with weight, the faster you spin the blower the more weight it puts on the belt ,the momentum of the rotors .

You could say that about any blower couldn't you?

As far as cubes theres no doubt in my mind if Jamie had a 416 motor in his car when Ted started with it he would be going just as fast or faster ,there going to get it done either way. I was against big cubes with the 2300 but my 454 with 11-1 is a blast and I cant say anything bad about it other than gas millage....You have a street car,you have a stick shift.....do the cubes ....I would give magnason a call and ask them who to talk to to get big power from the Maggie and pick there brain...Good luck and if I can help you give me a call anytime.
I am going to keep an eye on some builds and things before I pull the trigger. I like the Maggie for the time and using it on the street. I hear ya on the mileage, mine started to suffer a couple MPG when I broke 600.

If a few in your neck of the woods is 30 than you should smack your 1st grade math teacher.

My car has made over 30 passes 9.99 and quicker. Prob 25 between 9.80 and 9.90.

Please leave me out of your posts. You have no idea about my car so you shouldn't comment about.

Stick to your GTO stories. We just can't get enough of them.

The thing is...Jamie's car is an exception. If you sold that engine combo to anyone else it would not be in the 9's. The amount of time a logging he has and with Ted in his backyard (hip pocket) lol they have a TOn of time in the ENTIRE car and setup.

What sux is I goto the track and I here people say well Supercharged SS car this and that and they just don't understand that you didn't just bolt this stuff on a go 9's, and nobody will.

It took 3 years, about 300 passes, a bunch of behind the scenes stuff just to get a 4200# car to go 9.98....ONCE.

Then it took another 6 months to see another 9 second pass. Thankfully it only goes 9's now. Except when it breaks! But it goes on 10.0 at 142 on 6 cylinders.

I always have to remind people that if it was so easy why are there only a limited number of 9 second gen v's.

I apologize for ruining it for all you slow azz clowns...

Its like anything once you do it its easy to do it again. Ive been lucky enuff to help the only 3 eight second GTOs get there 8,we also set the sixspeed record with the Maggie car.I helped the g8 record holder with his record and if you ask Farrad and Nick about there record holding 5th gen I bet they will say ive helped them as well.Getting a quick time in the IRS platform takes an understanding of the system, old school tips don't work. You have a lot of power now,i would get it dialed in before you add anymore power, then add power and tweek your setup again...Ill be glad to get you anywhere you want to be you just need to be honest with your self and understand your limited with the sixspeed stick for a low ET and of coarse your driving skills will determin your ET. In other words you have a 10 second car now lets get that 10 and then move forward.

Yeah there is doubt I need more seat time, just the difference from DR to slicks was unreal, the first pass I hit the limiter twice it just got through the gears so fast, and I have only made about 8 passes with the 3.91 gears so I am still getting used to them. But they gained me 1-1.5 mph as I get into 4th sooner and can run 140 in 4th so no worries about having to shift again.

I made 4 -5 passes on the slick the other night and each pass was faster and a better 60ft time.
