Damn Tag, I'm too late....

I had a suggestion for you.....

I think you should have painted the panel CGM, then painted silver lettering (either CAMARO or SS)....kind of a nod to your old SS....you know, a tribute kind of thing....

Anyway, looks great, can't wait to see more pics and vids.....

Tag you said you like to hear ALL opinions.

I think the silver tail panel paint would look better if the little section between the tail light pairs was silver as well, for the sake of continuity. It just seems to me that the tail lights are mounted in the tail panel, and having that little section between the tail light pairs not matching and still the GGM body color make it look "unfinished" to me. The accent color should be on the whole tail light panel.

So Mike, are you saying that he just masks at the lower part of that "in between" area at the same level as the trunk lid ?

That blue Chevy emblem coupled with the blue SS looks killer !!

Nice. Gives it a tie to its heritage. (Yeah, that sounds corny, but true).

That idea works for a blacked out back but for some reason on this car it just looks busy. I like it better the way Tag has it.

you say that because you're just looking at the back end of the car.

If you look at the entire car, it wouldn't look right if it were blacked out.
but that's just my opinion

I would have liked to have done something to this in rememberance of the ole' SS. I'm going to miss her dearly....:(

Not bad...not bad at all....I felt it might be too small of a section for that silver and though it needed to be wider. However, there is no "ridge" to separate the panels from CGM to SIM in between the lights. It's all smooth and, IMO, wouldn't look right. But, I don't dislike that. I could live with that easily.
