Wheel degreaser question

I've seen a few car detail videos where all purpose degreaser was used on tires and wheel wells. I'm concerned the cleaner is not safe for the rims. Can someone explain if the degreaser, that spilled on, the wheels hurt them? I know Adams even uses it. What ingredient should I watch out for?
Second part... Can someone check this cleaner out for me?
Oasis 133 All-Purpose Cleaner & Degreaser
Could this be used safely on my wheels wells and tires....

Thanks

In my opinion a degreaser and all purpose cleaner shouldn't be confused. Degreasers are much more harsh. A good APC (Adams, optimum, even simple green) will be safe on most wheels especially if diluted. The finish on your wheels makes all the difference. On my painted wheels I use mostly soap and water unless they're very dirty. In which case I use sonax wheel cleaner or my optimum apc if I'm out of sonax. I also clay and seal my wheels now and then to help

Thanks... I'm having brake dust issues. I know when I change pads I want to move to a much nicer pad.. Maybe I'll try the clay bar on the two spots..
