No not necessarily. you see the axles intent was for a very big HP car being tracked on a regular basis. We use this Type Cv on about 15 other platforms with out any issues but the Camaro running at the higher angle has seem to have had more wear issues then most.

I was thinking about buying one of your 9" kits. It is definitely overkill for my slow car but I want something that is bullet proof and I don't have to worry about breaking at the track. Is it the CV joints that wear? Are they rebuildable?

yes the joints are, we are still testing one more part to see the results of a new design. when i have all the Data needed ill post up all info including the destructive testing results, graphs and pictures of broken parts.

Since I asked you this in the other thread, but you have not yet responded yet...

I bought my DSS IRS 9" kit in December. I told you I was planning to daily drive my car on the street most of the time and do occasional drag racing, that is why you recommended 3.55 gears with my kit.

Now you're saying the 1400 hp axles aren't meant for a daily driver? You knew that back in December and sold them to me for my mostly street driven car anyway?

The kit hasn't been installed in my car yet. I think I need to return it and get something more suited to my needs.
