I'm a bit mixed. I LOVE the interior, but the exterior I can take or leave. Something about the original 5th gen (pre refresh) just looks so much meaner and more sinister. That said, I'm still never selling my 45th SS. I plan on keeping that car for a LOOOOOOOONG time.

I just hope I don't see one in the dealership in the fall when its time to take mine in for scheduled service/ oil change. If mine sounded more like a V8 I wouldn't even be looking around. Maybe I should just install some headers and catback.

I don't plan on running out and trading in my 2013. I am interested in seeing a Gen6 in person.
I like the idea of less weight and more HP and magnetic ride suspension.

Until I see actual weight figures, not body in white 200lbs lighter, and lap times I'm not all that impressed. The bigger lower grill in the front makes it look like they took a design from what Lexus does with their cars. I am also not a fan of the rear bumper.
And I am not a Chevy loyalist. I am not a fan of the C7 rearend, I don't like the 14s taillights or the rear bumper coming up so high. I don't like the new Mustang minus the GT350. The FRS/BRZ are pretty cool and I do like those, just under powered. That's all my opinion. But I'll stick with my '10. She turns six in September and driving her to and from work is the best part of my day. I always have a smile on my face when I start her up. Maybe if a Z/28 with new aero appears in '18 I may like the '16 more, one never knows.

I'm still glad I got my '13 before the '14's and definitely before the Gen6.

Im staying with my fifth gen. Wish we could get the starter button and some of the cool bells and whistles though. I just love my fifth gen and all the fifth gen people I know and meet. Im sticking it out with the 5th until mullets are required.

I got a cold air intake, LT headers, high flow cats and a catback exhaust with a dyno tune. Trust me when I say this car rumbles and makes noise, feels like a real muscle car.

1.) I will not buy a first year car. Not because of the "bugs" argument so much as I want to see how the car performs, how the aftermarket reacts and for the DIY library to build. I don't want to buy a car like this with no modification market right off the bat.
2.) I am anticipating something stellar for 2017 for the Camaro's 50th anniversary. 3.) I won't buy a brand new car. I can pick up a used car that same year in December for a 10-20% discount vs. sticker price. I saved literally $10,000 on my car by waiting 6 months to buy it with a lousy 5,340 miles on it. I bought my 2013 IN 2013 and saved 25%. Unreal. So, the earliest I will in theory be able to buy a 6th gen is November/December 2017, more likely early 2018. I could easily hold out longer if I'm less than impressed with the 6th Gen's quality. I want to see plenty of real-world reviews on forums, not magazine articles.

The 5th gen is timeless styling just like the 1st. I don't see the 6th gen getting design awards like the 5th did. The 5th gen brought the Camaro back to life.
