i dont think ive ever seen a 5th gen pulling up the wheels way up in the air like that ! especially one with such minimal mods !

Longer car = longer lever.

Pick yp a sledghapper near the head, then try to pick it up by the very end of the handle.

Leverage makes it harder to pick up longer things... Even with a better motor and better gears it's going to be tough to lift a wheel. Add in IRS and it gets impossible.

I wouldn't worry about this useless feat. It's not going to improve your ET or Trap speed.

Pic reminds me of my '85 and '90 LX coupes. Had a ton of fun in those.

so chevy puts the new 5.5 - 6.5 liter DI newgen SB and i'm back where i was. and i am dissatisfied with my car. then ford puts bigger cams and DI to the stang and a supercharger. ford back on top. etc etc etc etc.

like others have said, but your car for your style and fun, not to be king. i feel like some have bought their SS thinking there would NEVER be a response to it and dodge and ford would just let them have the market.

i just dont think there is a clear mod for mod winner here. its the same for the next chasis. if ford loses 300 lbs and chevy does, it's back where it is now.

all three cars have great appeal. all threee are a dream for us. You chevy guys have to understand a lot of ford boys have taken a back seat since the LT-1 and are looking for revenge. the 2011 GT gives them that.

i am buying the 2011 gt for me. not to beat everyone. someone is always faster.

i am looking forward to the odd SS driver who thinks he cant lose.
Now here is a guy that is as honest as it gets, and tells it like it is .. I agree with every word you said, except that i will pick the Camaro when the time comes to buy a muscle car

It's the drag radials more than anything from what I see. At our local track there's a guy with a 2010 GT500 that ran mid 12's stock. When he put drag radials on it put him in the mid 11's. That's the biggest problem with the mustang is traction.

Don't hold your breath just go get the stang, at least you are honest about it. As a side note I had 2010 pull up to me yesterday while I was in my M6 and said heard those things are slow. I laughed and said yeah for a V10 its pretty slow. Awww those mustang guys always got a chip on there shoulders.
