I'm pretty sure this means everything except the Camaro . I think all Camaro's are a GO !!!

Did I say anything that was not true? Is he not our Beloved president? Did he not make the statement when Gas was over $4.00 a gallon that he would like to see it go to around $8? didn't his choice for energy secretary say he would like to see the price of gas here be the same as in Europe? (which at that time was 8-10 dollars a gallon). Wasn't it stated as a part of the viability plan was to sell more fuel effecient vehicles? All I was saying in response to the EPA post is that our current administration has already made it clear on their opinion of gas guzzeling vehicles. Nothing more was meant by it. I said nothing to warrent that comment about watching my mouth about Obama. He said those things, I didn't and if you are offended by someone pointing that out YOU are the one with the problem.

Like others, I am taking this to mean specialty vehicles only. I don't think the SS Camaro is a specialty vehicle because they will sell lots of them. The Z28, ZR1, CTS-V and STS-V, XLR and XLR-V (which are gone already), are low volume higher priced versions that will likely get the axe.

Throw some more fuel on the no Z/28 fire. I just hope GM will still be around when i want to order my Camaro....

I have to agree...

And i say this because.... if you read the monthly contraints list from yesterday... it states the V6 is on the constraints list...

So if they just cut the SS and the V6 is on the contraints list... THERE IS NO CAMARO!!!!...

I might go invest in a CTS-V since its now going to sky rocket in value.

Those of you crying about the Z28 now haven't been paying attention. GM has been in trouble for a while, and GM can't afford to keep operating if it blows its resources on low-production, low-profit products. This is a good business decision. The current platforms will still be in effect through their product cycles.

It still affects any future performance development for the Camaro and any other high performance GM vehicle. Anyone who wants the greatest performing Corvette ever, should line up now for a ZR-1.

That really does suck. All I've got to say though, is....SVT! haha. I really hope they don't scrap the performance division for good.

Yeah I think Fbodfather even said that about the ZR1 a couple months ago.
