Its not that loud. You'll be fine.

I run CAI.. Great performance. No need for a scoop if you mod the front lower air damper.

My Z/28 intake yielded 16HP 10TQ on Dyno with the hood closed. This intake was made by K&N for GM. Nothing against other intakes. Just saying.
