Has anyone port matched tvs 2300 to the heads

Was thinking of port matching the intake on my tvs2300 to the heads. Has anyone done this and did you see any improvement? The ports on the maggie look to be about half the size of the heads but I don't know if that is for a reason. Can anyone help. Thanks

We offer CNC Ported Base Manifolds on an exchange program.

When pushing the Maggie above 10 psi it really Helps.

Bought mine from Ted

Unfortunately I do not have any before & after data as the ported manifold was part of the overall engine build. But it was one of those items I deemed to be very useful in the quest of reducing IATs and exchanging some boost for increased blower efficiency.

I'am not going to port the heads just open the intake of the maggie to match the heads.

The Base manifold was designed to create a swirl affect for Emissions compliance from Magnacharger.

There are Benefits to Port Matching the Base Manifold to the Heads.

Port matching by what I've seen in general is 10+rwhp.

I'm guessing it varies with boost/flow, but do you agree with about a 10hp increase for port matching?

I'm doing mine myself this week actually. Not CNC, but it is actually a LOT of material, so I'll be using a fixture on my Bridgeport to get it most of the way, then blending with burrs and sanding rolls. It would take FOREVER with just a set of carbide burrs. I've done a couple on Vettes with the LS3, but this is my first Camaro. Same motor and manifold though. I've seen 10+ hp with no other changes than the manifold. I also saw a drop of about 1/2-3/4 PSI of boost. So slightly more HP with slight less boost, so to me that sound like a gain in effeciency, but I'm no engineer, just a hot rodder.

Yeah, I'm just matching the lower section to make it rectangle-shaped and lowering the hump at the port floor to give the air a straighter shot, then a little blending. I wish I could CNC them, but at least this way I have almost no money in it, I love that almost free HP!
