That one says its for an Audi, BMW, is it the right one? or do I have to find one for GM vehicles?

Did you have to use an adapter for the xm antenna to plug into the head unit? or are you just needing the cord to extend the length of the antenna wire?

Hmmm, so all of the heat/AC/Fan controls are also replaced. Are these replaced with every head unit replacement seen so far? How do you now what setting the heat/AC is currently on? Shows up on the display too?

you need the one you had in your original post. Its a european style conector. Don't know why gm used it but they did.

Can you use a Sirius receiver? I know I can use it with the head unit of my choice but was wondering if the stock xm antenna will work with it if I change the connector.

Unsure, I just know you need an aftermarket tuner for XM or Sirus is what I am told.

Only if you have a week ground. There is a better way to fix it. I had it in the begining.

I took the metra kit to have it reviewed by the installer, he claims I will need a separate harness for the audio to work. Is this correct? anybody know what type of harness is needed?
