acceleration noises

I am having a strange issue when i accelerate from my back wheels/axel. When i hit the gas whether hard of soft i get this distinct crack or click from the back wheels. sounds like something is stuck idk. mayb differential needs to be changed? it only happens when i accelerate. its not te tapping most complain about i know about that. I was told by my dealer months ago that if didnt change my diff fluid my wheels would lock up but i then i read its not necessary. Im just not sure man and its bothering me. im tired of the dealer i take her too they alway try to tell me something else needs to be done.

I have a clicking noise too.... Mine does it right after I push the gas and right when I let off too... Still haven't figured out what it is! My guess was its in the brake calipers or pads....

If it's a single crack under heavy load (on or off the gas hard) have them nut-n-bolt the diff and cradle points. Might have been something loosened up or not torqued enough from the factory. If it's a repeated clicking, might be a CV joint. But I'm certainly no expert...

Solid ideas none the less.

Also, if its a chattering type noise, try replacing the diff fluid.

I had this also but had it fixed under warranty. 2010's were missing thrust washers. There is a service bulletin for this issue. Check out the thread below.

Change the fluid. I have a noise from the rear wheels when i accelerate too but it's usually from the tires breaking loose.
It's not hard to do that fluid change by yourself
