if you get red SS emblems and it's not really an RS = fail. Get what you want or live with it. If my RS had dropped off, I already decided it would be just an "aw shucks" moment, not something I would agonize over.

Dude, get the camaro and enjoy it.. Mistakes like this happen, that is why you have to double check your order on the final days before it gets pulled..

Unfortuantly the Company (GM) you speak of is not responsible for what the individual dealers do in these cases.

+1 this is probably in all reality the dealers fault not GM's. Anyway, do what you gotta do and makes you happy.

You must get the HIDS otherwise you will for sure regret trying to make it a RS. Those
lights make it look so menacing coming down the street. I would not accept a car that was made to look like an RS after the fact. Better to keep it as the SS. |

Hate to hear that happened (most likely the dealer messed up).
Get the car you really want don't settle, if you like the 500 go for it.

Not Gm's fault your dealer dropped the ball you both shouldve reviewed your order. Hey probably wouldn't have either cause I would've also trusted my dealer but in this case

You neeed to stop blaming GM for your dealers screw up. GM doesn't just drop options off of a sold order unless they cancel the option all together. I'm sure your idiot dealer is telling you it's all GM's fault but as someone that has been an inventory manager for years at a GM store, it's all on the dealer. They just didn't order the RS package.

I'm sorry, but no one to blame but your dealer and yourself, yes yourself. You custom ordered a car, but when making changes you didn't ask for the workbench print out?

I mean come on, when I placed my order I wouldn't leave till I got the workbench. And If I changed my order I'd ensure that thing was faxed to me or emailed to me for review. Regardless, your dealer can have your order expedited, and usually it's built in 4 weeks. Go straight to the head of the line.
