Great idea.

Okay, so I'm thinking about gears. I read the entire post about them (great job and thank you) but just want to make sure I understand. I have a 2013 SS L99. I don't drag it yet but expect to some day. If I go with the 3.73s, I can expect more torque (hence, better times) in the 1/4 mile but it will require higher RPMs to do that - correct? If so, my question is: do I have to worry about to much stress on other things, like rear axels, etc. - or should the other stock parts hold up? What about the need for suspension upgrades with the higher torque?

Lots of questions, I know, but you guys at Apex started it! You guys provide such great customer service, parts and mods to C5... thank you so much.

With the 3.73s you will get a mechanical torque advantage that is equivalent to approximately 62 lb.-ft. of torque. The flip side of that is that your cruising RPMs will be a little higher. You do not need to worry about drive train components but some suspension upgrades are a good idea to help with traction. I would recommend rear cradle bushings and trailing arms for sure.
