I'd be interested. Got my Camaro in May and am driving around with no front plate in Texas where they'll shoot you for less. Saw one that bolted on underneath the front bumper in existing holes for $36.00 but I'm having a hard time finding that thread.

Actually, this is not terribly suprising. To make these parts the CNC cannot be running parts they actually produce profit. With a small run of three parts you have a huge setup cost per part. Plus this material looks to be Delrin, this is a very strong plastic (100 MPH and still have a plate) material alone is almost 20.00 if you were to buy a small amount. Finally the pins are not cheap probably 5-10.

Too rich for my blood but I understand the price, these are custom made parts.

Nice unit for sure...price is a tad tall for me too though.

I tried some long c-clamps and rubber on my lower grill and it worked about the same as this...mounted a plate holder to them. Much cleaner looking here though...then again it was all behind the plate and I never removed the plate like this.

Good job on the design...you got a winner there!

live2well - I wanted to say thanks or posting the pics and it looks really good.

To all the people complaining about the price - He said first off that it was a one off that he and someone he knows made and they weren't interested in selling it. But he gave a price (which imo is fair for something they would be doing in their off time) just to help out people here.

IMO - Anything I do in my off hours will always carry a price premium because it is taking away time I could better spend with my family and friends.

I've seen that on a car locally. Do you have a link to where you bought it?

Been a while since I chimed in here,

I was wondering if you (Live2well) the OP have had any issues with any rubbing or movement or anything causing any scratching or anything where this piece was inserted now that you've been driving it around a while?
