Thanks...if we ever go to open carry it will be on my hip daily.

It's a tac driver, and because of its size is pretty tame on recoil.

Good luck, but I doubt it's legal there because of the threaded barrel, aggressive checkered pattern on the grip, and scary black color.

I am looking at adding a different concealed carry pistol to my collection. My current one is a Taurus PT911 in 9mm. I would like a .45 for the punch. I have already shot my friend's XD .45 on several occasions, so I know I am more than comfortable with the caliber. The specific gun I am currently look at is the Glock 30SF. I have somewhat small hands, and I was just wondering if anyone could give me any insight on how it fits.

Try the glock 36. It's even smaller and slimmer than the 30.

I really want to have the 10 rounds in the 30SF, though. I don't have freakishly small hands, just a little on the small side for an average male. For example, the Beretta M9 grip is just a bit too large for my comfort (and thus a bit too long of a reach to the trigger for a proper squeeze).

how many rounds does the mag hold? edit nvm saw it on the prev page 15 rounds CHMSC ~ cant use the single shot exemption rule... as soon as you convert it back it holds too many rounds unless you are a LEO. i am not sure what the law would say if you blocked it like a 10/20 AR mag?

and how bad is the ammo ($)? thats been the one thing that keeps me away from anything FN is just the special ammo concept

No special ammo, It's a .45!

The only FN that required special (FN brand) ammo is the five-seven pistol, PS90 or the AR57.
